   A qucik question reguarding the following statement ...

And yes, the 2.4 driver is "abandoned" until the ZORAN_VIDEODEV_2 (0.9.4
& co) have been integrated in 2.5.x, then I'll think about backporting
it to 2.4.x.

   Is the 2.4 driver really abandoned?  Should I not try an install the 
0.9.4 ( compile ) the drive in my kernel?
