I have a 90 minute movie which I want to burn onto one CD which I can play on my DVD player. I'm not worried about quality, just the convenience of not having to change disks half way through.
lav2mpeg does a great job of creating VCD and SVCD mpeg files which are good quality, but too big. What can I tweak to get the size right down? Would an SVCD with an abnormally low bit rate be the solution? Is there any way of working out how many MB 90 minutes takes based on bitrate? Excuse my asking something which I can work out myself, but my machine is pretty old and encoding 90 minutes is an overnight run. Trial and error takes days for me... :o( -- Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.NET email is sponsored by: SourceForge Enterprise Edition + IBM + LinuxWorld = Something 2 See! http://www.vasoftware.com _______________________________________________ Mjpeg-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mjpeg-users
