But, now , although I read the man ... (or I'am really dump) , I cannot playback the avi file I recorded with lavplay, there are only many different colored Lines on the lavplay window !?
Here's how I recorded :
lavrec -f a -i p --software-encoding --geometry=352x288 --stereo -q 80
paul4q80.avi
however I can play it fine with xanime .

You need to use --software-encoding. To set the size, use --geometry=WxH (e.g. --geomery=352x288). For more info, see 'man lavrec'. Ronald
