You don't have jpegmmx installed, and you're not supposed to either.
download the tarball containing jpegmmx from
http://sf.net/projects/mjpeg/.

Doesn't matter, it doesn't contain libjpeg-mmx, it's not installed
because it's not a standard package or lib or anything.

RedHat doesn't have mjpegtools packages (frehsrpms does!), and there's
certainly no jpeg-mmx packages as far as I know. To use jpeg-mmx, make
avidemux find the source directory.
