Hi there, I get my captured data using streamer (part of XawTV package) from my BT878 card (lavrec exhibits problems). I capture into .avi with RGB24 frames, so I have a lossless datastream from which I can process later (to get rid of ads etc).
I want to capture (using streamer), edit (using what, I don't yet know), then process into DivX (using mencoder). The capture file is about 40GB for 2 hours, so I don't want big temporary files (which is why I though of glav, since it uses edit lists. I though I would use lavtrans with the editlist and feed the output directly into mencoder. Or is glav only for MJPEG streams?
