Thanks for the recommendation. However I was wondering if a low-end ($400)
minidv camcorder would do just as good of a job - or if the Canopus will
even beat a $2000-$3000 camcorder's ability to convert analog to digital.

I was hoping not to dump any more money in an analog to digital converter
unless part of that money went towards a new camcorder.

However, if the Canopus even beats miniDV/DV camcorders then I'm sold.

By the way, anybody know which combination of h22capt.dll/h33drv.dll works
the best? With the official 1.3 drivers it plays back too dark - so I have
to revert to the original buz cd's h33drv.dll or the official 1.2 drivers
h33drv.dll (buzpp1 doesn't solve the brightness either). I'm in NTSC full
resolution, 29.97, 200k/frame - 0 dropped frames.

Also, is there any buz driver combination/tweak that actually allows Premier
to render at a decent speed, or do I have to use Morgan, etc.?

Thanks for everyone's help.
