The Box you mention. Is very nice :-)

But I would not say that it is was built as a PVR.
They wanted to build as a digial satelite receiver. 
But it runns Linux and has a Ethernet Port and the ability to install a
typical IDE HD. 

Maybe I will buy the digital sat receiver. When it stores the data to
the disk I would guess that it stores digital Broadcast (MPEG2) to the
disk.
