Hi Leandro,
This is a bug. The control 'file_bpm' already gives the file's BPM so
changing the 'bpm' control reflect the 'perceived' BPM of the player makes
sense.
Currently, the UI widget in charge of displaying the BPM (WNumberBpm)
adjusts the 'bpm' control's value according to the rate. I think that Mixxx
itself should adjust the 'bpm' control when the rate changes. Can you please
file a bug describing the issue? This could be easily fixed for Mixxx 1.8.1
or 1.9.0.
