Harald you can build a kernel without ipv6, it used to error out for a short time I think and a while back. Then things like relayd won't work. I haven't added ipv6 to my qmail systems so I remove it from the kernel on them at the mo as well as from basic firewalls. Only reason being, why not reduce code. I always keep a generic handy though. Out of interest. Henning and anyone else, do you have any quarms with ipv6 sockets over ipv4?
