Hi guys. Recently I installed OpenBSD 4.8 and found out that it can't detect 4GB memory on my amd64 box. From the output of dmesg I can see it detects all the memory hardware (4x1G memory bars). Yet it can only use about 3.5G of them, like an i386 kernel does.
I've googled the issue and some say one has to 'config' the default kernel (i.e., bsd.mp). But I am not very sure that I know how to do that... My question is: Is there anything I can do to make bsd.mp detect all the 4G memory on my amd64? There must be some way... I think.
