I have an older computer with an Adaptec 4 port ethernet card which was
running 4.6. It's used exclusively as a firewall/router/vpn gateway. Under
4.6, networking would crash after about a week, requiring a reboot.
/var/log/messages would contain various instances of "/bsd: WARNING: mclpools
limit reached; increase kern.maxclusters".

I just finished an upgrade to 4.7, and now the networking crashes about once a
day. Increasing kern.maxclusters only delays this for a while. I suspect
either bad hardware or a hardware incompatibility. Does anyone have an idea
as to what could be causing this?
