My first computer I built myself from scratch - it used the shiny new 6802 cpu. I wrote the OS in machine code - none of this namby-pamby assembly nonsense.
And it was portable, ran off a 12 gell cell - for about 20 mins.

My first computer was a Timex-Sinclair, yep with thermal printer, that massive memory upgrade module on the back and its cool tape recorder storage system!

But it was my first programming experience, BASIC and assembly.

I really liked that advanced system :)
