if it doesn't boot at all, follow the basic method in 4.2 errata 003 http://www.openbsd.org/errata42.html if you mean, it boots and starts to load the kernel but fails sometime after that point, that won't help you, and you'll need to provide more information (e.g. at which point it fails).
