Hi! It may be that i have something not set right in bios (although it has default settings set and firmware is updated) but my hp dl385 g1 randomly stops running 20. january current amd64. The same computer worked for a long time with another operating system, i.e. i dont suspect hardware problem.
I wrote up these messages from console kernel: machine: machine check trap, code=0 Stopped at hardclock+0x1: movq, %rsp,%rbp ddb> trace hardclock() at hardclock+0x1 Xresume_lapic_ltimer() at several MB files over network and then it stopped. It would be great if somebody could suggest how to get OpenBSD on this computer working or confirm that i'd rather find me another computer. Best regards, Imre PS Actually, in the first place i tried to run amd64 4.6 stable on this computer but it behaved similarily and then i did give a try with current.
