Hi list, I know. This is not specific to OpenBSD at all. I just thought you guys use gpg to sign and encrypt email a lot :-)
So having OpenBSD 4.6 on my old laptop and one of my favourite email clients (Sylpheed - installed with pkg_add, the flavor supporting gpg), I am able to sign and encrypt email nicely. Sylpheed automagically opens a dialog and I can choose key and enter passphrase. But when receiving encrypted email I am not able to decrypt. Sylpheed simply shows me the gpg encrypted data, and does not open dialog box for entering passphrase. I folowed this doc (I have no idea if I should have done differently): https://help.launchpad.net/ReadingOpenPgpMail#Sylpheed It states that Sylpheed is unable to decode the message inline. OK. But after following this guide I'm still not able to decrypt. I still do not have a chance to enter my passphrase. The output from the action say "bad passphrase". So if anyone of you uses gpg together with Sylpheed and OpenBSD and got it working, I'm all ears :-) TIA, Mikael
