It seems the 'r' flag isn't mentioned on the man page. I glanced at the code and it seems to do something very similar to 'R'. I also noticed that you cannot use both flags together. In FreeBSD and NetBSD this code exists too and again it isn't mentioned on the man page.
Any special reason for it?
