Actually I cannot get it to work also with xterm*locale: true. But never mind, because having solved the cyrillic input I would have to solve the chinese input, which I also need, and in xterm seems to be quite problematic to have all of this together (scim input does seem to work only with gtk or qt apps, or course there is uim...). This is why I use roxterm instead, where everything works "out of the box".

I have add string 'FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/cyrillic/"'
into xorg.conf, then I execute fc-cache. However, these fonts
unavailable in X. What is going wrong?
