Hello community, I have two boxes:
Quad Core Processor with 4GB RAM Dual Xeon 3.0 Ghz with 2GB of RAM I have heard contradicting information as far as I can use both the MP and the REGULAR kernel (i386 or amd64) and that both would give me the same performance.. Isnt it true that If i apply the regular kernel on these boxes I would be wasting CPU power? Per top it would only show one CPU. Also.. is it better to use amd64 or i386.. or doesnt matter?
