Hi,

I *may* be able to arrange for two Sun E250s for OpenBSD developers. I
don't know if there is any interested in these machines, as they are
pretty bulky, heavy and fairly old. The two are to be "recycled" by my
work and my boss wanted to know if I was interested in them. If there
is interest I can make a serious inquiry for taking possession of the
machines; please NOTE there probably needs to be approval for this
sort of give-away, as this conversation was unofficial and in passing.

The servers are located in Southern California (LA area). I can help
with some of the shipping costs, maybe all if it isn't too much
(offers to help with shipping are welcome). I am told these machines
are nicely configured for what was considered "nice" during the
time-period they were deployed in production, though that isn't saying
much (I can find out specifics). Though, there is a possibility that
their HDDs will be destroyed (company policy or somesuch). If that is
the case I can donate a few 9gig HDDs from my own E250.

Feel free to contact me off or on list if there are interest. My guess
is, due to the nature of these beasts there will be no interest :) but
I thought I'd check anyway.
