Depending on your screen size you may also need to set a Virtual size
large enough to cover both displays, e.g. 'Virtual <xsize> <ysize>' in
the relevant "Display" section.

$ xrandr --output VGA --mode 1024x768
$ xrandr --output LVDS --mode 1024x600
$ xrandr --output LVDS --above VGA
