Seems still to be an issue with the 192 subnet and the router. The problem I still have is that the machine on the 192.168.0.0/24 subnet, i.e my ubuntu box, will not resolve DNS through the router. Dig commands fail also.
Also I found a pingable host on the internet, well tried 2 actually, and again I get no response from these with the Ubuntu, but it seems fine with the machine on the 172 range.
