Hi,
since yesterday the bge0 interface of my IBM X41 stopped working.
It is shown in dmesg and ifconfig as usual, but it is impossible to
bring it up. When I assign a IP address the ifconfig command just hangs
and nothing happens.
Also, the media type is only shown as 100 MBit instead of 1000 MBit.
I've already tried different cables.
To be sure it is no driver issue I booted up the Linux grml live CD and
even though the interface doesn't work with Gbit speed, it as least
works with 100Mbit without issues. So I guess the "hanging" issue is
driver related.
Any ideas how to make it work with 100 MBit with OpenBSD too until I get
around to send it in for repair?
