Install bash statically linked.  That's all.

And the default is not, so do it every time and one day you will forget it, or someone else will upgrade that box for you and will not think about it, nor will you check it out.

Like I said, do as you wish, your box, your head.

Forget best practice until you get stuck, or forget one day to recompile it statically.
