I've been trying to set OpenBSD 4.3 (release) primary domain controller according to howto o Danielle Mazzechio http://www.kernel-panic.it/openbsd/pdc/ and I'm facing a strange problem I'm not able to figure. Following the instructions, upon configuration of /etc/openldap/slapd.conf, I'm not able to execute slaptest -u as root, but once I'm logged as user, sudo slaptest -u executes and config file test succeedes.
Any idea about the cause of this? Many thanks in advance. Excerpt below: # install -d -o _openldap /var/run/openldap # slaptest -u ksh: slaptest: not found # exit $ sudo slaptest -u Password: /blahblah (ignored) config file testing succeeded
