I'm about to set up two machines running relayd and carp in arpbalance
mode, meaning 2 relayd instances running (one on each box).
My question is, is there some way to control both relayds at the same
time? Either from a third computer or from on off the boxes themself.
For example if I'd want to disable one host, I would like to avoid
"going" to both boxes and doing that (which I'd have to do to make
sure that if the master box fail I don't want the backup to start
sending traffic to my disabled host).
Is there any builtin support for this (haven't seen any), or does
anyone have any readily available scripts (using ssh to issue
commands or something), that they'd be willing to share?
Another question, anyone ever used a setup like this in carps ip
balancing mode? So I could utilize both boxes fully.. I guess thats
mainly a concern in case you do relaying with SSL terminating in
relayd (CPU issues).
