cd /usr/xenocara/driver/xf86-video-siliconmotion
zcat /path/to/xf86-video-siliconmotion-1.6.0.diff.gz | patch -p0
make -f Makefile.bsd-wrapper obj
make -f Makefile.bsd-wrapper build
and try to start X
I don't have hardware to test this. Reports from other users with SMI
cards are welcome too.
