The firmware was not the problem as it didn't seem to change between 4.3
and 4.4. Still at the same version.
I turned off wep encryption and I could associate with my AP and get an
IP via DHCP ...
I could ping the net and less than 1min later i get :
wpi0: fatal firmware error
wpi0: timeout waiting for adapter to initialize
I will try to debug that later when I have more time. Seems like wep was
the problem. With 4.3 it works straight up though.
