I now nothing about ciss(4), but if you mail test reports to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the subject Re: Category/Number: title, so in ths case Re: kernel/5682: fix ciss(4) the report will be attached to the PR. In that way, useful info does not get lost (like your post likely will in all the noise of misc@). Please include at least dmesgs with your report, so we can see which version of ciss(4) hardware you have tested and on which platforms. Getting bugs corrected is sometimes hard, but you can make it as easy for developers as possible by sending in proper, detailed reports, with diffs to fix the problem and test reports on various platforms. -Otto
