It seems that you would benefit from beginning that research,
sooner rather than later.
Reading any material at all about packet filtering will give you the
answer that question and to others you will soon have.
Before you can go any further, you will need to have started that
reading. Before you can start on that task you will need to gain a
rudimentary overview of TCP/IP.
