HOTSPOT_BUILD_JOBS controls how many parallel build jobs occur during the hotspot portion of the build (mostly c++ compiles). PARALLEL_BUILD_JOBS controls how many parallel build jobs occur during the rest of the build which I've left at the default. -Kurt
