PF is not limited by what's in the documentation. It's just a tool and it's limited by your creative use of it. You can not expect all possible uses of the tools you use to be described in the docs, since some people think of really clever and creative ways to use it. The cool part is - you get to tap the knowledge of a part of the userbase by sending mail to misc@ if you don't know how to solve a problem. Someone may think of some cool solution that not even the developers thought of when they created the tool.
