But as a user, I have to say that the best would be to put all energy into your own projects. The BSD licence is freedom. So any BSD qualify for a link at FSF! I sometimes have to use software that is non-free. I can not find a free alternative yet. But apart from that, let anyone do what he or she is best in their minds.
