While it is certainly a good idea to do this kind of backup you sometimes
end up in situations where you loose files (due to corruption or user
error), and then the automatic rsync deletes them from your backup server
before you notice it.

I would recommend combining it with some kind of incremental scheme
(rsnapshot should be good).

But then again, I just lost all my data because someone stole my laptop
and my backup didn't work.
