Any general-purpose system can run non-free software, but that's not the issue. The issue is whether a distribution refers people to the non-free software or not. Since so many messages have been based on disregarding that distinction, I suggest that everyone reread the paragraph above. I did not know about this example, but I know of others which are worse. That is why I refuse to recommend Ubuntu.
