We run our VPN using OpenVPN on OpenBSD and primarily have Windows clients. I just set up a mac using tunnelblick and it works fine. One downside to tunnelblick is that it does not have a GUI for configuration or loading certs, so you just have to drop in your config and certs by hand and go. Once it is set up it is a nice little icon at the top of the screen and works easily and flawlessly for me so far.
