For the archives: HP Proliant ML110 will not boot bsd.rd unless the BIOS option "8042 Emulation Support" (which is enabled by default) is disabled. It will hang at the "entry point..." message indefinitely.
Maybe this will save somebody half an hour of googling, tweaking bios etc.... Mitja
