(in alphabetical order): Dell, Fujitsu-Siemens, HP, IBM, Intel, Sun, Supermicro, but I probably miss some. Often, people looking for this type of equipment use rack-mount servers; by restricting to tower servers you reduce the number of people that can give you information. So, look at the spec charts and find something which matches your requirements, then search the mailing lists, nycbug dmesgd, armorlogic openbsd compatibility list and maybe other places to see if anyone else uses them. If you're only looking at SCSI drives, you'll have fewer options; newer hardware is usually SAS/SATA (simpler+cheaper for the vendor because they share many parts). For firewalling, I prefer two cheaper machines with single PSU/HD in a CARP cluster, than one machine with dual-PSU dual-HD + RAID; performance should be quite similar, but the cluster is easier to upgrade, and gives some protection against other hardware failures (fans, motherboard components, etc). (well, actually I prefer to use flash storage rather than HD for firewalls, but sometimes brand servers don't have any spare power connections so it can be fiddly).
