Did you check? The /usr/share/zoneinfo/zone.tab file on my system (Sep 24 snapshot) was commited 22 August. If the change (Daylight savings, perhaps?) was known at that time, it's reasonable to assume that the system ships with time zone files which *do* include that information. -- Peter N. M.
