I'm running the same i386 snapshot, and everything seems normal in
/var/log/daemon. Some peer valid/invalid, some adjusting local clock, a
clock is now synced, and then some adjusting clock frequency.

13:19:01 - ntp engine ready
13:52:05 - clock is now synced

Which seems very typical for this machine.
