I use 4.2 (Aug 14 -snapshot) and I get same message, but sound works
for me.
Mixer device checked OK, aumix -q OK, esound deamon (esd) sounds good,
Have you double checked mixer settings (mixerctl -a)?
Usually I forget 'inputs.line.mute' to 'on'.
If yes, then
1) Does the sound work if you connect your tv-card sound output
directly to the speakers?
2) Is the cable ok?
