Let me try this again as for some reason the msg was cut off:

6. Switching consoles works fine under OpenSolaris however under OpenBSD nothing happens.

Any ideas why?

Basically some KVMs don't work well with OpenBSD - I've not tried a USB KVM but my 4 port PS2 KVM from ebay works well - if I don't have the mouse connected as per this issue:
