That would be nice, however I'm not much of a kernel hacker (Linux or
OpenBSD) so I wouldn't be much help.

No matter. Get the community access to open docs and the ability will
take care of itself as soon as someone wants to pick up the project.
If there's any reception from Sangoma at all, it may just be that they
don't realize that the community has as much interest as we probably
do, and they may be very receptive when approached by the right
proposal.

The OpenBSD project has shown how plausible getting vendors to open up
actually is, as opposed to the "our only option is to NDA" approach
that other projects default to.
