Thanks for getting back to me. Specifying /dev/ttyh0 (or /dev/ttyh1) gives the same results. I still don't see any sensor when issuing: # sysctl hw ...nor is anything showing up in /var/log/daemon except for the following message: Apr 11 19:16:43 shockley savecore: no core dump Do you have any other ideas?
