The current -current is named 4.1-current, and will be named 4.2-beta, 4.2 (for a short time), 4.2-current, 4.3-beta, 4.3, ... - assuming nothing changes in between, of course. > 2, How _shall_ I do an upgrade from one -current snapshot to a newer > one -current snapshot? Yes, but if you keep reasonably up to date, just using the provided packages usually works just fine (right now is one example of a case where it doesn't - we have a new X version). Joachim
