Hello, I am trying to install sendmail and i get this warning message that indicates that the socket needed for establishing connections cannot be created.
smtp-vilter: Unable to bind to port unix:/var/run/smtp-vilter.sock: No such file or directory WARNING: Xsmtp-vilter: local socket name /var/run/smtp-vilter.sock missing At first I thought it might be permissions and tried everything but it still doesn't work. I am wondering if anyone else has got this warning and problem, i am using PF on the same server too but I do not see any restriction that could prevent sendmail from creating this socket, or should I maybe add some line to pf.conf? I have tried to look for information about this error on the Internet, and only two sites (one in russian and another in english) report this problem but there is not apparent solution. Thanks a lot for any help
