Hi Group,

I have recently migrated my mail servers from Linux to OpenBSD (will
be almost a month by now). Everything has been nice since then :)

But I have faced a strange problem ( almost three such instances by
now) , wonder if anyone else also has experienced it.

The mails that are sent from mail servers running on MailEnable never
reach us. The MailEnable software just generates a "Message has been
delayed" mail and sends it to the sender.

I had searched my Spamd database for any "GREY" entries, but nothing
was found. Then I did a MX lookup for the sender's domain and searched
the IP of the mail server in the daemon logs. It just shows

ip address x.x.x.x connected
ip address x.x.x.x disconnected after x secs.

There is no Mail from - Rcpt to dialog. Then I whitelist the ip
manually and mails starts coming through.

Further, I had on one of my servers kept p0f running. Here is the
output for one such Mail Enable host.
---
<somedate.......> x.x.x.x:3778 - Windows -> myserverip:25 (distance 5,
link: ethernet/modem)
----

Is there any thing we can do for these poor people ;) (Sorry please do
not flame me for this)

Googling does show a lot of threads with similar prob but no soultion.

Thanx & Regards
Ram
