Hi

I want to install OpenBSD 4.0 on a old sun sparc64 netra T1 105
the installing process works fine, but after reboot the system
i get a error mount_ffs: /dev/sd0a on /: Invalid argument (twice ???)
There nothing extra configured on the system except from the installing
script.
so what arguments are invalid
It isn't a hardware problem, installing freebsd give no problems at all (but i
want OpenBSD)
fsck give no errors

Do you have some clouse

Thnx

Hi,

Looks like you messed up the installation some how:

Why is root on sd0c? c is the raw whole disk it should be sd0a.

Also your fstab has a fs_passno of 2 for the root device this should be 1 - see fstab(5)

HTH
