My regular workstation is a M2NSLI-Deluxe with two e-GeForce 7100GS Cards. It
does not have wireless but does have dual gigabit. I installed 4.0 from the
CD and it worked well initially. After a while the nfe0 interface stopped
responding (I was syncing with the CVS repository at this time). I upgraded
to -current and the same thing happened when compiling OpenOffice. I was
trying different things to solve this problem thinking that it had something
to do with activity on the machine or the network. For some reason setting
mediaopt to 100BaseT instead of autoselect seemed to resolve the issue.I have
not had a problem with nfe0 for the past few weeks.
