That's an important point, but it might be in the artist's best interest to remain "unreachable". If Samurai Chef "makes it big", and franchises his mug retail stores, the copyright holder will really be in for a windfall. On the other hand, if he just sells a gross or so, the artist work will not only be on the screens of OpenBSD users but also in their hands every time they get caffeinated.
