This is not a request for help. Just getting this info out there. I've experienced several hard locks without panic on the DFI NF3 250-AL while ssh'ed into it via nfe(4). This happens when I have stuff running that produces a lot of output; this stresses nfe(4). It's amazing that we even have the nfe driver... it's great for those unfortunate enough to have a laptop with nfe on it. The obvious work-around is to install another NIC (they are cheap and plentiful) and use that in it's stead. Free and open documentation is so import to writing drivers that can deal with the inadequacies and bugs of (especially x86-targeted) hardware. Just knowing what registers etc to play with is not enough.
